Richard Herbert Bremer

Richard Herbert Bremer, age 86, formerly of Summit Lake, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Colonial Manor in Wausau. Richard was born on November 20, 1930 to the late Arthur Herbert and Glen (Bowen) Bremer. He married Laverne (Hendricksen) in Milwaukee who preceded him in death on April 6, 2016. Richard served in the United States Air Force. He resided in Milwaukee and Marietta, Georgia and then moved to Summit Lake after retiring. Richard is survived by his daughter Caroline (Adam) Sawyers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, his grandson Stephen (Roxie) Sawyers of Wichita, Kansas, his great-grandson Alex of Wichita, Kansas, and his sister Delores Glissen of San Leandro, California. In addition to his wife and parents, Richard was preceded in death by his son Richard Bremer Jr, his brother Arthur Bremer Jr, and his sister Margaret Ann Bremer. A private burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Summit Lake.
