  • International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day Event
    Monday, November 26, 2018

    You are not alone. Join a community of suicide loss survivors to find comfort and gain understanding as we share stories of healing and hope. The event takes place at Antigo Public Library, and features a screening of A Daughter’s Journey, a documentary that follows Sarah, a young adult, through her story of milestones, family, coping and positive growth after the loss of her father. This year’s film shares hope, connection and resilience in the aftermath of a suicide loss.   • Christmas Music Program by Wings: A Grief Education Ministry

    "Lean on Me" is a concert by Living River Quartet specifically tailored for those who are grieving during the Christmas season. The quartet will share goodwill in spiritual song, feel-good music, and traditional Christmas songs. All are invited to hear music that can soothe the hurt and lyrics that say the words you need to hear. Concert is Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 at Plaza Hotel and Suites in Wausau.   • When the Holidays Hurt Grief Program

    Wings: A Grief Education Ministry offers a program on grieving during the holidays. The program offers ideas on how to get through the Christmas season while experiencing grief. Program is in the Medallion Room of the Aspirus Wausau Hospital on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. -7:30 p.m. Public is welcome. No registration necessary.
