Harold Lewis

February 27, 1937 — September 2, 2024

Harold Thomas Lewis, of Antigo, passed to his heavenly home on September 2, 2024 at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital, surrounded by his family.


Harold was born on February 27, 1937 in White Lake to the late Thomas Lewis and Beulah (Morgan) Tackett.


Harold worked as a truck driver and most recently, he retired from Cousineau’s where he worked as a crane operator. Harold attended Faith Center Church as well as Christ Central Church. His faith was greatly important to him. He was musically talented and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing, especially with his son and ultimate fishing Buddy, Jeff. Harold had an act for mechanics. He made a hobby out of spending time fixing things in the garage. His greatest love was that which he had for his family.


Survivors include his 6 children; Trisha (Jeff) Kloet, Harold (Laura) Lewis, Terry (Lori) Lewis, Kim Lewis, Tammy (Doug) Stone, and Melissa “Missy” (Tim) Baker, 7 grandchildren; Kayla Jansen, Sammi Jo Clark, Katie (Kota) Klessig, Riland Baker, John (Denise) Doan, Korie (James) Orlowski, John (Crystal) Lewis, 13 great grandchildren; Aiden, Jack, Cooper, Owen, Jasmine, Kyle, Jaden, Bryce, Aubree, Klarrisa, Zander, Exzavyer, Skyler, and a sister Geneva “Gedie” Messer.


Harold was preceded in death by his parents, sons Jeffrey and Gerald Lewis, a grandson Kyle Kloet, his siblings and their spouses Velvo “Vel” and Grace Lewis, Rosella and Curtis Messer, Bill and Marge Lewis, Noah and Carole Lewis, Cleo Lewis, Armella Lewis, Marcella “Nunnie” and Art Schalie, Larry Lewis and a brother-in-law Carl Messer.


A visitation for Harold will be held on Saturday, September 7 from 10:00 AM until noon at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. The service will be held at noon at the funeral home with Pastor Danny Pyeatt officiating.
