Adeline Marie Foth, age 88, formerly of Polar passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Berlin, WI. Adeline was born February 5, 1933 in Polar, WI to the late Harry and Velda (Wierschke) Dickman. She was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1951. On May 20, 1953 she married James Foth. The couple later divorced. Adeline worked on the family potato farm for over 30 years. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Polar when residing there. She was a member of their Ladies Aid, their quilting circle, and taught Sunday School. She also sewed quilts for her family. Adeline dearly loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her two sons: Daniel Foth, Sr. of Friendship, Thomas (Cindy) Foth of Adams, four grandchildren: Daniel (Tammy) Foth, Jr. of Friendship, Jamie (Nathan Nowak) Foth of Berlin, Nicholas (Heather Schilling) Foth of Grand Marsh, Kari (Matt) Nedbal of Montello, eight great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, two sisters: Alice Shepherd, Audrey Wolf, sister-in-law: Elizabeth Dickman, many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Adeline was preceded in death by brothers: Norman and Byron Dickman, sister: Mary Ann Van Boekel, sister-in-laws: Lila Dickman and Margaret Dickman, brother-in-laws: Jerry Van Boekel, Henry Shepherd, and Bill Wolf. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21 from 10:00 AM until noon at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home. Vicar Jennifer Sosinski will officiate. Interment will be in the Town of Polar Cemetery. The family would like to thank Patriot Place, Theda Care at Home, and all who cared for Adeline. .
