Adeline Parsons, age 99, of Antigo died Thursday at Homme Home in Wittenberg.Mrs. Parsons was born September 26, 1911 in Kewaunee to the late Edward and Emma (Molle) Seeman.At the age of 12 Adeline came to Antigo and began working as a housekeeper. She later married Max Parsons on June 11, 1931. Together they founded the Bryant Garage in 1935 which today is Parson's of Antigo. Max preceded her in death on May 17, 1985. She was instrumental in the business operations, working in bookkeeping and management of the dealership.Mrs. Parsons was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Polar. She loved her church and was very active there as a member of Lutheran Women's Missionary League, Ladies Aid, teaching Sunday school and vacation Bible school. Her community was also very dear to her. She was a 4-H leader active with the Langlade County Fair. She was also a school bus driver.Adeline enjoyed dancing and took part in the local Dance Club. She was known for her culinary skills and loved to share a meal with friends and family. Adeline was a skilled quilter and enjoyed needlework. Traveling was also a pleasure, having visited Spain, Greece, and many U.S. destinations.Mrs. Parsons is survived by 2 daughters; Evelyn (Gene) Schlundt and Maxine Muench both of Antigo; 2 sons; Lyle (Judy Stull) and David (Sherri) both of Pickerel; a sister Lillian McInnis of Milwaukee and a bother Edward (Betty) Seeman of DePere; 10 grandchildren; Peggy Parsons, Patti Pomasl, Penny Schumitsch, Pam Dietz, Terrell and David Schlundt, Eric and Leslie Muench, Jenny Gretzinger and Curt Parsons; 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Adeline was preceded in death by 4 sisters; Viola Blahnik, Margaret Bero, Ruth Schroeder, and Dorothy Volm; 2 grandchilren Kerry Muench and Russell Schlundt; a great grandson Clint Novak; a great great grandson Jacob Muench; and a son-in-law Richard Muench.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Polar. Reverend Donald Engebretson will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday at the church from 9:30 until the service. Interment will be in St. Peter Church Cemetery.Memorials will be established in Adeline's name for St. Peter Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
