Albert A. Beimborn

Albert A. Beimborn, of Polar, died today at his home. He was 93 years old. Albert was born July 23, 1915 in Polar to the late Albert and Henrietta (Timm) Beimborn. He married Helen Gulick July 23, 1950 in Polar. She preceded him in death June 4, 1994.Mr. Beimborn worked as a logger and was employed at Farmco and Amron Corporations. He was an avid gardener who loved sharing his produce with others. His many enjoyments included whittling, woodworking, cutting wood, and reading. He enjoyed watching football and was member of National Rifle Association. He served in the US Army during WWII in the South Pacific.Survivors include 2 daughters; Nancy (Edward) Straley and Sally (William) Walton both of Polar; 5 grandchildren and 10 grandchildren; a step daughter Jane Combs of Polar; and a brother Harvey Beimborn of Antigo.In addition to his wife, Mr. Beimborn was preceded in death by 6 brothers Irvin, Clarence, Frank, Walter, Emil, and Rudolph and 1 sister; Mabel.
