Normal 0 Alfred "Larry' Robinson, 69, of Elton died Sunday, November 28 at Langlade Hospital.He was under the care of LeRoyer Hospice and his family. Larry was born December 1, 1940 in Elton to the late Walter and Elizabeth (Bailey) Robinson. He attended Elton Grade School and served in the US Navy stationed in San Francisco and Hawaii. He served on the USS Enterprise and the USS Goldboro, participating in both the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis. He also previously resided in Kenosha. On June 5, 1965 he married Connie Lee Larzalere in Antigo. She survives. Larry worked in construction also owned and operated Green Carpet Lawn Services. He was also employed for Interstate Maintenance servicing military bases. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching football, and socializing. He especially loved the sea. Survivors in addition to his wife include 4 daughters, Samantha Robinson of Elton, Amanda (Javier) Jarvis of Florida, Victoria Robinson of Elton, and Morgan Robinson of Elton; 4 sisters, Marry Messer of Antigo, Glenna Robinson of White Lake, Gale (Robert) Lewis of Elton, Karen (Edward) Sellers of White Lake; 2 brothers, Ralph (Virginia) Robinson of Antigo, and Darryl "Wayne" Robinson of Antigo; 3 grandchildren, Logan, Luke, and Neveah; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William and Orville; 6 sisters, Ardith Gilliam, Geneva Powell, Carol Guthrie, Barbara Valentine, Raeburn DeHart, and Florence Robinson. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wed. at New Life Central Fellowship Church, with Rev. Erv Messer officiating. Visitation with military honor guard will be 4-8 Tues. at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. A second visitation will take place 10-11 Wed. at church. Burial with military honors will follow the service at Elton Cemetery. Larry accepted the Lord into his heart and he is living with Jesus now.
