Andrew "Skip" Kashuba

September 17, 1948 — June 19, 2021

Andrew Frank "Skip" Kashuba, age 72, of Elcho died Saturday, June19, 2021. His death was that of an accidental drowning while fishing on Enterprise Lake. Skip was born on September 17, 1948, in Milwaukee to the late Andrew and Lucille (Olson) Kashuba. Skip was raised in Oak Creek and graduated from Oak Creek High School. Skip worked in many different job professions, including, road construction, roofing, and welding. Skip was a jack of all trades. His family enjoyed time at Enterprise Lake in Elcho throughout his youth and in 1988, Skip moved to Elcho permanently. He loved the community, daily coffee with the guys at the café, Harley's, shooting pool with the Men's Club, and fishing. He was a gun enthusiast and was patriotic. Skip was a likeable person and made many friends. He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor. Survivors include two daughters; Sonja Kashuba of Antigo and April Lessard, a son; Andrew Kashuba of Milwaukee, grandchildren; Alexis Pekrul, Kiara Pekrul, Isaiah Pekrul, Brenden Hitz, Troy Lessard, great grandchildren; and Ayana and Amelia Spiegl, Kenzli and Zander Lessard. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday June 30th at 1:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service at the funeral home.
