Ann Strasser

Ann Elizabeth Strasser, age 92, of Antigo died Wednesday April 22, 2015 at Eastview medical and Rehabilitation Center. Ann was born on February 23, 1923 to the late Michael and Anna (Wolf) Huebl. On September 28, 1946 she was united in marriage to George Strasser at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Aniwa. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2003. The couple moved to Antigo where they raised their family. She enjoyed dancing, and trips to the casino. Ann was a member of St. John Catholic Church. Survivors include 2 daughters, Judy (Tom) Price of Antigo and Joan (Dennis) Matsche of Birnamwood, 4 grandchildren Jason, Kara, Kristy and Kami and 5 great grandchildren Katie, Kendra, Zoey, Greta, and Cody. In addition to her husband and parents, Ann was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary, Virginia and 7 brothers, Winifred, Edward, Anton, Henry, Joseph, Jerome and Robert. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. John Catholic Church. Reverend Charles Hoffmann will officiate. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is serving the family.
