Anna Mary Prindl of Antigo died at Langlade Hospital on Monday, Aug. 11, 2014 at the age of 92. She was born in Milwaukee on July 30, 1922, daughter of the late Geatano and Antonia (Aliota) Mussomeli. She married Anton Prindl on June 29, 1946 at Pompeii Church in Milwaukee, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1998. Mrs. Prindl grew up in Milwaukee in the Italian Community of the Third Ward. She attended Lincoln High School in Milwaukee. She was employed in the plastic molding room at Peerless Brothers, which later was known as Beatrice Foods. In February 2007, she moved to the Antigo area to be close to her family. She went to the Horizon Adult Day Care and made crafts for the Blue Awning Senior Crafts. She enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, playing bingo, plastic canvas/crocheting, and last but not least, her church, Homestead Fellowship. Survivors include her children, Michael (Sandra) Prindl of Antigo, and Roseann Prindl of Antigo; grandchildren, Alexis and Nikolos Prindl; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Mussomeli, Jessie Kline, and Donna Ropiak; in addition to many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Prindl; 6 siblings, Salvatore Mussomeli, Josephine (Fred) Sanfilippo, Mary (Nicholas) Buatti, Andrew (Delphine) Mussomeli, Geatano "Thomas" (Constance) Mussomeli, and Dominca (Jake) Pipito; and 2 additional brothers-in-law, Dwane Kline and Ron Kopiak. A funeral service will take place on at 5:30 p.m. Friday, August 22 at Homestead Fellowship Church at 710 Center Street, with Pastor Steve Schroepfer officiating. Visitation will be 2:30-5:30 at the church. Entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield on Monday, August 25, with a gathering in the Chapel of the Flowers from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
