Arcelia Alice Kolpack, 79, of Antigo died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Langlade Hospital. Mrs. Kolpack was born April 2, 1934 in Antigo to the late Charles and Theresa (Pankratz) King. On August 23, 1952, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Kolpack at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Phlox. Lloyd preceded her in death in 1992. Mrs. Kolpack was a homemaker and a mother. She was also employed at the Dixie Lunch for 28 years. She worked hard and taught her children the value of a strong work ethic. She loved quilting, puzzles, listening and dancing to polka music, playing cards, and gardening. She had a great love for all her family, and she especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Polar. Survivors include 7 daughters, Cheryl Hayes (special friend Robert Kalke) of Antigo, Charlotte Horrell (special friend Todd Huebner) of Mattoon, Christine (Edward) Brandt of Bryant, Colleen (Tim) Baraniak, Carla (Jerry) Nichols of Mattoon, Evelyn (Richard) Budd of White Lake, and Paula (Walter) Wheeler of Antigo; 3 sons, Calvin (Carol) Kolpack of Antigo, Clyde (Traci) Kolpack of White Lake, and Patrick Kolpack of Antigo; a sister, Loana Heinzen of Gleason; a brother, Earl (Carol) King of Coopersville, PA; 25 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Lori King, of Atlanta, GA. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Orin Kolpack; daughter, Charleen Kolpack; brother, Lee Allan King; grandson, Charles Kolpack; and 2 sons-in-law, Archie Hayes, and Ernie Horrell. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, with Rev. Donald Engebretson officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. A second visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church.
