Arkadiusz Pstragowski

Arakadiusz Pstragowski of Deerbrook passed away on January 31, 2021 at his home at the age of 71 under the care of LeRoyer Hospice and his family. Arakadiusz was born on December 27, 1949 in Gliwice, Poland to the late Bohdan and Janina (Pyzel) Pstragowski. In 1978, Arakadiusz moved to the United States where he met Barbara Niescieruk. The couple married in Chicago on April 12, 1980. Arakadiusz worked as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed gardening, especially tomatoes and peppers in his greenhouse. He also enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, picking wild mushrooms, watching Polish television, and traveling the United States. He also raised beef cows and grew hay. In addition to his wife, Arakadiusz is survived by a daughter; Agnieszka Pstragowska of Libertyville, IL, sons; Bart Pstragowski of Deerbrook and Ronald Pstragowski of Salem, WI, Brother; Irenusz (Teresa) Pstragowski of Poland, and stepbrother; Michal Pstragowski of Chicago. In accordance with his wishes, a private service will be held.
