Arlene Klotz

Arlene Klotz, age 83, died Tues. Dec. 13 at Stonecrest Residence in Wausau. She was under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice. She was born Feb. 6, 1928 in Antigo, daughter of the late Ben and Magdalen Lund. She married Gil Clark Klotz at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Sept 2, 1950. Gil preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1979. Mrs. Klotz graduated from Antigo High School in 1946, and was employed at Jessica's Hallmark Card Shop. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She belonged to St. Mary's Parish, serving on the funeral dinner committee and Christian Women's Society. She enjoyed the companionship of her friends and family and treasured their good times at Post Lake. Survivors include 3 daughters, Jane (John) Gephart of Duluth, MN, Suzanne (Norman) McMullen of Frankfort, IL, Karen (David) Brittenham of Wausau; 2 brothers, Don Lund of Pendleton, IN, and Jerry Lund of Wausau; 6 grandchildren, Robert (Kristen) Gephart of Superior, Dan Gephart of Superior, Mary Gephart of Las Vegas, NV, Valerie (Tanner) Young of Rockford, IL, Patricia Brittenham of Green Bay, Michelle Bibeau of Frankfort, IL; 1 great-granddaughter, Madelyn Young; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Lund, and 2 brothers, Lyman Lund and Duane Lund, A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at SS. Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church, with Rev. Jeremiah Worman officiating. Visitation will be 10-11 Sat. at church. Interment will take place at Queen of Peace Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
