Ashley Lynn Deangelis

Ashely Lynn DeAngelis, age 36, of Wausau passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 14, 2021 at her home. Ashley was born May 13, 1985 a daughter of Jodi Fleischman (Mike Waldner) and William (Tammy) Rector. Ashley attended Antigo High School. Ashley was united in marriage to Vincent DeAngelis. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2007. She was employed by her sister, Heather, at Patron Mexican Restaurant in Wausau. She had a love for music and expressed her creativity and talents through beading and crocheting. She especially loved her nephew, Jaithyn. Ashley could light a room and always made the best of any situation. Ashley was raised in the Catholic faith. Survivors in addition to her parents include her siblings: Heather (Jamie Xiong) Gardner of Wausau, Jessi Gardner of Aniwa, Barbara (Jordin) Divine of Antigo, Nicole Rector of Madison, Brittany Rector of Antigo, Jo Rector of Antigo, her 3 precious children whom she loved dearly, paternal grandmother Juanita Rector of Hatley, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friend John Guenthner. In addition to her husband, Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Richard and Connie Fleischman, paternal grandfather Robert Rector, and a nephew Benson Xiong. A memorial service will be held on December 1, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery in Aniwa.
