Barbara Ann Becker

Barbara “Barb” Becker of Townsend passed away peacefully at home on August 23, 2021 at the age of 72. Barbara was born on March 10, 1949 Richfield, WI to the late Carl and Evelyn (Kilman) Jeranek. On August 26, 1967, she was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, James “Jim” Becker at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown. The couple was just shy of celebrating 54 years together. Barbara worked as a homemaker as well as for a dime store and pharmacy. She also cleaned many homes for families. The couple formerly resided in both Crandon and Richfield before retiring to Townsend in the home Barbara’s mother was raised in. Barbara enjoyed cooking, reading, and sewing. In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by a son; Glenn (Karen) Becker of Sussex, grandchildren; Mackenzie Becker (Dustin Minix) of West Bend and Micaela Patten (Brandon) of West Bend, great granddaughter; Emma Patten of West Bend, and brother; Carl Jeranek of Minnesota. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister; Dorothy Zimpelman. In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
