Barbara Rose Lund

Barbara Lund, age 76, of Antigo passed into the loving hands of her Lord & Savior Monday while at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. Barbara was born on February 9, 1939 to the late Chester and Versie (Carter) Burt. She was a graduate Antigo High School class of 1957. Barbara was united in marriage to Roy L. Schroeder he preceded her in death. She later married James Lund he also preceded her in death. Barbara worked in bookkeeping at various businesses and municipalities. She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Polar. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing cards. Her greatest pleasure was time with her family, friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include 2 daughters, Julie (Howard) Hoffman of Athens and Jennifer (Jeffery) Behm of Phlox, a son Jeffery (Cyndi) Schroeder of Shawano, her dear friend & companion Elroy Mathisen, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a sister Gail Remington of Antigo, and the James Lund family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Polar. Reverend Karen Tews will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the service.
