Brian Lee Edwards, age 59, of Antigo, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

Brian was born in Antigo on July 12, 1966, a son of the late Leon and Gloria (Riemer) Edwards.

He was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1984. He then enlisted in the US Navy, serving from 1984-1987.

On June 4, 1994, he was united in marriage to Eva Spencer at Calvary Lutheran Church.

Brian worked as a truck driver, most recently employed by County Materials.

Brian was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. He recently was instrumental in starting a youth group at the church.

Brian had many interests including camping, working on and riding his motorcycle and working in the woods. He was a wonderful storyteller, had a contagious laugh and a big kind heart.

He was very dedicated to young people and was an integral part of the Antigo Wrestling Club, where he coached and mentored wrestlers for 27 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include his three children: Keegan (Sabrina Frisch) of Wausau, Logan (Jossalyn Cowell) of Appleton, Zoë at home, grandchildren: Daron, Aria, Brooke-Lynn, and Infinity, his siblings: Laura (Bob) Elliott of Appleton, Mark (Roxanne) Edwards of Antigo, Lynda (Jim) Solin of Lily, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Doc and Rose Spencer of Antigo, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law: Dillon and Roger Spencer.

A memorial service will be held Monday, May 25 at 12:00 PM at Calvary Lutheran Church. Reverend Jennifer Sosinski will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the service at the church.

In a caring last gift, Brian was able to donate life giving tissue.
