Bruce Nonnenmacher, age 60, of Antigo died Friday, January 15, 2021 at his home. He was under the care of LeRoyer Hospice and a wonderful group of caregivers. Bruce was born July 1, 1960 in Antigo to the late Lennon and Gertrude (Hartman) Nonnenmacher. He was a graduate of Antigo High School. Bruce was an accomplished bowler, winning many awards. He also participated in track events in the Special Olympics. He loved fishing, picnics and the Green Bay Packers. Bruce worked for the City of Antigo. Bruce was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and participated in their Bible Study. Survivors include his sisters; Liz (Michael) Shedlbauer of Antigo, Barbara Lison of Greeneville, a brother Richard (Pat) Nonnenmacher of Antigo, a brother-in-law; Gordon Stadler of Appleton, his dear friend and roommate; Scott Dorn, his dear friend and caregiver; Kerri Matz, and many nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by a sister Ellen Stadler Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Peace Lutheran Church. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM at the church. Vicar Erik Hart and Jeff Nielsen will officiate. Interment will be in Bent Cemetery.
