Carl "Duane" Messer

Carl “Duane” Messer died June 11, 2022 at the age of 54 years at his home in Antigo. He was born on April 17, 1968 to Leroy and the late Armella (Lewis) Messer in Antigo, WI. Duane was a graduate of Antigo High School, Class of 1987. He married Theresa (Bormett) Messer on June 1, 1991 in Madison, WI. Duane was a collector of model cars and semis. He was active at Faith Center Church. Duane is survived by his special friend April Timms of Antigo, WI, a son Carl Messer of Madison, WI and a daughter Melissa Messer of Madison, WI, his father Leroy (Lois) Messer of White Lake, brothers Donald Messer of White Lake, WI, Tommy Messer of Antigo, WI, Leroy “Cody” (Robin) Messer of Washington Island, WI and Robert “Mike” (Eileen) Messer of Antigo, WI. Further survived by brother-in-law Dave Weber, former wife Teresa Messer, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his mother, Armella, a sister, Bonnie Messer-Weber, and a nephew, Travis Messer. A celebration of life for Duane will be held at a future date.
