Catherine Mima Stollings

Catherine Mima Stollings, age 98, of Antigo passed away November 6, 2024 at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital while under comfort care.

Catherine was born on June 19, 1926 in Bryant, WI to the late George and Mima (Arrowood) Spencer.

She attended Bryant Grade School. Catherine was united in marriage to James Hendricks, who preceded her in death.

Catherine moved to Illinois residing in Winthrop Harbor, IL and Lake Villa, Il where she raised her family and worked as a supervisor in manufacturing.

She was a loving nurturer, enjoying quilting, cooking, baking and being with “her people”.

Upon retirement, Catherine moved back to the Antigo area.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Geri (James) Veinotte of Lake Villa, Il and Debbie Gerretsen of Mount Vernon, WA, sister Bithe, grandchildren: Cheryl, Pam, Becky, David, Joey, and David, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by a daughter Joan Bogdala, a son James Hendricks, an infant son, her siblings: Bess, Mahala, Nancy, Christine, Edna, Gloria, John, Nathan, Ed, Jack, Boone, and George, 3 grandchildren: Jimmy, Danny, Michael, and Kristin Hendricks, and a great grandson Gage.

Burial will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Zion, IL.
