Charles "Charlie" Kolpack

Charles "Charlie" R. Kolpack of Antigo, died Monday, March 14, 2011 at his home. He was 25 years old.He was born October 10, 1985 in Antigo a son of Clyde (Traci) Kolpack and Norma (David) Dahlke (nee Heistad).He loved balloons, cookouts, hugs, the 4th of July, and Wheel of Fortune. He enjoyed music and listening to the radio, especially the Delilah program, polkas, and church on Sundays. He knew and appreciated the simple pleasures in life.He passed on his good cheer to everyone. His hugs and warm smiles were generously shared. His genuine love will remain in our hearts forever. The happiness he shared with others was a precious gift. Survivors, in addition to his parents and stepparents, include a sister, Chelsea Kolpack of Antigo; 2 brothers, Trudell (Laura) Kolpack of Scottsdale, AZ, and Heath Kolpack of Antigo; 2 stepsisters, Sarah Evanson, and Emily Dahlke; grandparents, Arcelia Kolpack of Antigo, Jody Jones of Alaska, and Arthur and Eleanor Dahlke of Antigo; aunts, uncles, and cousins; his friend and roommate, Colleen Higgins; his very special friends who cared for Charles; Judy Perrot; Betsy Garza; Ginny Hunt; Karry Spencer; Heather Turley and Mike Higgins.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Art and Laura Heistad, Lloyd Kolpack, and Jim Damos, and a cousin Carrie Damos.A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thurs. at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with Rev. Steven Vaudt officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 Thurs. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Langlade Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Charlie's name.
