Cheryl Schmidt

Cheryl Schmidt of White Lake passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at Aspirus Wausau Hospital on December 5, 2022. She was 69 years old.

Cheryl was born on August 3, 1953 in Milwaukee to the late Thomas and Geraldine (Kowalski) Dziamarski.

On October 20, 1989, she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Dave Schmidt. He survives.

She graduated from Pulaski High School and went on to attend North Central Technical College to study accounting. She was a devoted homemaker.

Cheryl enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and knitting. She was always thinking of her family and would often gift them homemade sweaters and blankets. She was also known to collect yarn in every color.

In addition to her husband, Cheryl is survived by children; Heather Tessmer of Wausau, David Dziamarski of Antigo, Kim (Joe) Stegall of Crandon, David “DJ” Schmidt of Two Rivers, Amber Schmidt of Wabeno, and Holly (Paul Shepard) Schmidt of White Lake, grandchildren; James “JJ”, Jordan, Mikayla, Alex (Coral) Kristina, Andrew, Bradley, Angel, Bently, Kairi, and Eevee, and many great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by a grandbaby, Kaylee.

In accordance with Cheryl’s wishes, no services will be held. Cheryl was deeply loved and will be deeply missed by her family.
