Christine Holland

Christine Holland, age 68, of Antigo, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at her home.

Christine was born on March 4, 1956 in Antigo, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Sadie (Bowen) Ingram.

Her family moved to Kenosha when she was a young girl and she attended schools in Kenosha.

On September 7, 1979 she was united in marriage to Donald Holland in Kenosha. They resided there for many years before returning to the Antigo area. Donald preceded her in death on June 23, 2018.

Christine was an extreme homemaker. She loved it when her home was filled with the people she loved. Cooking and flower gardening were her pastimes. Christine’s most treasured time was with her family, and family extended beyond blood.

Christine is survived by her daughters; Kathy Volpentesta and Tonya (Dale) Deisinger of Antigo, sons; Frank “Brian” Volpentesta, Gary (Teresa) Holland of Antigo, grandchildren; Coty Parizek, Ashley (Ben) Ullman, Frank, Joe, and Julia Volpentesta, Alexis and Brianna Holland, and Casey Anstutz, great grandchildren; Nathan, Bentley, and Clara, and a brother Ray (Tina) Ingram of Kenosha.

In addition to her husband and parents, Christine was preceded in death by a great grandson Jaxson, brothers; Donny, Doug, Bob, Porter, and Carl Ingram, sisters; Lavonne Wickersheim, and Romelle Kerley, and an infant brother Gary.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00 AM until the service. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
