Cindy Horst

Cindy (Stone, Theilman) Horst, age 64, of Deerbrook, WI was called home to the Lord on October 24, 2022 due to peritoneal carcinomatosis.

Cindy was born on July 10, 1958 in Antigo to the late Harvey Stone and Marian Mikelson.

On September 17, 1974, she wed Bruce Theilman. They later divorced but had two children; Chad Theilman who later married Bree Pesl, they were formerly of Mattoon and now reside in Gleason, and Kerri Miller of Antigo. In 2003, Cindy was married to Michael R. Horst. She became a stepmom to Jessica Bord (Gary Schill), Jamie (Andy) Pfantz, Jackie (Daniel) Aldersebaes, Jordan Horst, John (Destiny) Horst, and Scott Bayer, who came to live with Cindy and Mike in 2009. She is further survived by grandchildren; Alyssa Theilman, Jake Theilman, Jada Bord (Carson Kautzer), Makayla Bord, Ron Bord Jr., Cyler Schill, Cooper Schill, Quintin Petterson, Landyn Pfantz, Madalynn Pfantz, and Kaiden Horst, siblings; Linda (Craig) Seis of Antigo, Donna Mikelson of Sheboygan, and Dan Stone of Fort Atkinson, and mother-in-law; Norine Horst. She is also survived by her horses; Blue and Armani and dogs; Gunner, Autumn, and Riley.

Besides her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother Larry Stone and father-in-law Walter Horst.

Cindy will be remembered for her love of raising Golden Retrievers and her Arabian horses. In her younger years, she bred and raised several Arabian horses. She enjoyed camping with and riding her horses with friends. Cindy was a member of the RRR Horse Club and Underdown Horse Club. She also enjoyed the times spent with family, especially her grandkids. She loved staying home and taking care of the “farm” dogs, horses, and Scotty.

The family will be receiving visitors on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Four Corners Assembly of God, N3891 County Hwy P, White Lake, WI 54491 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at the church at 12:00 PM with Pastor Marvin Kindle officiating.

Cremation services have been provided by Strasser-Roller Funeral Home.
