Clarence "Con" Frisch of Antigo passed away on May 29, 2021 at Evergreen Terrace at the age of 94 under the care Of LeRoyer Hospice. Con was born to Ignatuis and Martha (Petrowski) Frisch on February 20, 1927 in Antigo. Con attended Antigo High School, leaving his senior year to enlist in the US Navy. He served two years in Hawaii aboard USS Yokes. Con was the third generation to own and operate Frisch's Greenhouse. He and his brother, Del took over the business in 1953 and he worked there for 33 years. Con also had a partnership in Shear Cropper and Plantation, raising Christmas trees for 10 years. Con was a member of Ss. Mary and Hyacinths Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Elks and VFW. Con enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the "farm" (a piece of property with a trout pond and a cabin). Con was also a passionate Packers fan from the day his father took him to his first game, even owning a share of the team. In his retirement years, he and his friend Shirley Larson, enjoyed traveling to all 50 states including the national parks, Canada, Alaska, and Iceland. He especially enjoyed wintering in Port Aransas, TX. In addition to his friend Shirley, Con is survived by a brother; Tom Frisch of Green Bay, Shirley's daughter; Sandy (Rick) Warren of Antigo, Shirley's grandchildren; Matt (Sara) Warren, Josh (Emily) Warren, and Rob (Katlyn) Warren, great grandchildren; Hailey Warren, Derek Warren, and Jackson Warren, sister-in-law; Elvera Frisch and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews and his feline companion; Ralphy. In addition to his parents, Con was preceded in death by brothers; Del Frisch, Don Frisch, and Allen Frisch, and sister-in-law; Audrey Frisch. A Mass of Christian Burial for Con will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Ss. Mary and Hyacinths Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with Father Joel Sember officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 2 at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with the ELKS Lodge of Sorrow taking place at 6:00 PM and again prior to the service on Thursday, June 3 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow the service at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
