Clarence "Tiny" Herman, 81, of the Town of Polar, died August 12, 2010 at St. Clare's Hospital in Weston.Tiny was born March 2, 1929 to the late Frederick and Leah (Harbauk) Herman in Sheboygan, WI.He married Geri Bolen on December 28, 1974 in Sheboygan, WI. She resides in Polar.Tiny served in the US Air Force for 3 years as a test pilot. He later worked in masonry as a bricklayer in Sheboygan. He moved to Polar and continued to work in the masonry industry for A & M Masonry until his retirement at the age of 70.Tiny was a true sports enthusiast, playing golf, softball and bowling. He also enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan, hunting, gambling, TV, and time spent with family and friends.In addition to his wife, survivors include; 2 daughters; Cindi (Doug) Goestch of Sheboygan and LeAnne (Al) Holden of Sheboygan; 4 sons, Steve Herman of Sheboygan, Clarence Herman, Jr. of Tennessee, Rick (Felicia) Herman of Marshall, WI, and Jim (Jodi) Hessil of Tomah, WI; 12 grandchildren, Cory, Shawn, Alex, Cory, Amber, Cassie, Steven, Stacy, Jack, Troy, Jim, and Eric; 7 great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth (Dennis) Post of Sheboygan; 4 brothers, Robert, Richard (Rosemary), Marvin (Carol), and Michael all of Sheboygan; and a brother-in-law, Dick (Judy) Bolen of Polar. Tiny was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Zizter and 2 brothers, Milton and Wally. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 5:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until the service at the funeral home. A memorial will be established in Mr. Herman's name.
