Claudette Stormer (Jandrain), 77, passed away peacefully early Saturday, August 18, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness. She was born to Dr. Richard and Madeline Jandrain on December 27, 1934 in Luxemburg, WI and was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy in Green Bay. She was a devoted wife and mother, married for the last 53 years to James "Jim" Stormer. The couple was united in marriage on November 27, 1958 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Luxemburg. Claudette spent most of her adult life in De Pere, WI raising her seven children. She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pickerel. She served on several committees for the Wisconsin State Firefighters Association, where her husband served on the board; and was a member of the Women's Auxiliary for the Pickerel Fire and Rescue. She loved the outdoors and she and Jim moved to their cabin on Arbutus Lake in Pickerel 18 years ago. She loved cooking, gardening, traveling, her dog Cheyenne and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Jim; daughters; Stacy Bettis of Richmond Hill, GA; Susan Coenon Stormer of Oshkosh; Sherri (Don) Dequaine of De Pere, Stephanie (Jeff) Farnham of Williams Bay; and sons Stuart Stormer of New Frankin and Scott Stormer of De Pere; grandchildren; Jesse, Dalton, Jason, Allyssa, Brittni, Justin, Amanda, Devin, Jordan, Tanner, Nolan and Cassidy; a brother Ken (Joyce) Jandrain; and sister-in-law; Barb Jandrain and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son; Steve Stormer; sisters; Collette (Bob) Ullman and Jean (Ken) Junio; and a brother Richard Jundrain. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in her name. Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday at 12:00 noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pickerel. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and from 10:00 AM until the service on Wednesday, all at the church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Aspirus Health Care Centers in Wausau and Antigo, the LeRoyer Hospice, and the Dialysis Centers in Antigo and Wausau for their compassionate care during her illness.
