Clayton P. Bailey

Clayton P. Bailey, 94 of Weston, WI died Monday at Renaissance. Mr. Bailey was formerly of Deerbrook and had lived most of his life in Langlade County.Clayton was born May 26, 1916 in Bryant to the late Earl and Ruth (Jenkins) Bailey.Clayton graduated from Antigo High School in 1934. He then worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps. On June 20 1938 he married Mary Pence. She preceded him in death on October 3, 2010.Clayton was an auto mechanic, owning and operating his own business for many years. He also worked for Leonards and Fraleys. Clayton enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, and baking.Mr. Bailey is survived by 3 daughters; Sue (Patrick) McFaul of Mosinee, Ruth (Jim) Niedzolkowski of Westborough, MA; and Elizabeth (Rick) Krosnicki of Deerbrook, 3 Sons; Clayton (Betty) of California, Earl (Harriet) of Minnesota, Tim (June) of Antigo; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.In addition to his wife, Clayton was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Frances Petrasek and Leone Sheldon and 2 grandchildren.In honoring, Mr. Bailey's wishes, no services will be held.Special thanks to the staff at Renaissance.
