Clifford E Boettcher of Moose Lake, age 87, died Oct. 25, 2012 at Progressive Health Care Center in Sheboygan under the care of St. Nicholas Hospice. He was born July 1, 1925 in Antigo, son of the late Harold and Edith (Graves) Boettcher. He married Patricia (Tatro) in Antigo on Nov. 29, 1947. She survives and resides in Sheboygan Mr. Boettcher was employed at Bemis Manufacturing. He was a World War II veteran. He always enjoyed time spent at the cottage on Moose Lake in the Antigo area, and after his retirement he lived there full time. He loved fishing, hunting, and enjoying the northwoods. He liked going out with friends and making new ones. He will be remembered as a generous, friendly man. Survivors, in addition to his wife Patricia, include a daughter, Sandra (John) Ballo of Howard's Grove; 2 sons, Gary (Debra) of Sheboygan Falls, and Raymond (Anna) of Sheboygan; a twin brother Kenneth (Rita) of Antigo; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Monday, Oct. 29 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Polar. Visitation will be 9-11 Monday at the church. Interment with military honors will follow the service in St. Peter Church Cemetery. A memorial will be established in his name.
