Connie Lee Fritsch

Connie Fritsch, age 83, of Antigo, died Tuesday April 21, 2020 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Connie was born August 7, 1936 to the late Kennan and Ruby (Rice) Purdy. She was united in marriage to Robert A. Fritsch in Antigo on October 15, 1955. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2002. Connie was a member of Faith United Church of Christ. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary 2563 of Antigo and C.A.R. Connie was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1954. Survivors include two daughters, Debra Ramer of Antigo, Christine (Ed) Brahm of Antigo; a son, Robert D. Fritsch of Antigo; 4 grandchildren, Jeremy (Karli) Henke of Antigo, Scott (Heather) Rasmussen of Antigo, Samantha Mackiewicz of Wausau, and Sarah (Armando) Metrando of Wausau; 5 great grandchildren, Kenneth, Jeremy Jr., Leland, Lily, and Lyla; sisters, Bona (Richard) Fritsch of Antigo, Nancy Lewis of Antigo; and brothers, Kennan (Dora) Purdy of Gleason and Gary Purdy of West Hollywood, CA. A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Tuesday, April 28 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Wes Jedras will officiate. Due to current health restrictions limiting gatherings to 10 people, the public is invited to pay their respects by driving past the graveside prior to the service. Please enter Elmwood Cemetery from Forrest Avenue between 10:45 and 11:00, and funeral home staff will direct your vehicle. Those who choose to stay for the service will need to remain in their vehicles.
