Connie Mae Grabowsky

Connie Mae Grabowsky, age 81, of Antigo died Monday, March 10, 2025 at her home under the care of her family, LeRoyer Hospice and a close caring friend.

Connie was born on May 14, 1943 in Antigo to the late Marcus and Hazel (Heller) Graveen.

Connie was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1961.

On July 17, 1965, Connie was united in marriage to John "Jack" Grabowksy. Jack preceded her in death on July 10, 2022

Connie worked various jobs over the years, working for local potato growers, ginseng farmers, and Doug's Music Shop. She greatly treasured being a mom and homemaker. Jack and Connie loved fun times, laughter, and creating memories with their family and friends.

Her pastimes included gardening, playing cards, putting puzzles together and time spent at the cottage on Arbutus Lake.

Connie was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.

Connie is survived by her daughter Lisa Houdek of Bryant, a son Brian (Deena) Grabowsky of Antigo, grandchildren Garrett Grabowsky of Wausau, Montana Grabowsky (Beau Schartner) of Antigo, Nikole Houdek (Cam Vostis) of Oconomowoc, Erika Houdek (Alex Arrowood) of Antigo, a great grandson Asher Arrowood, a sister Marilyn Belott of Wausau, and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Connie was preceded in death by a son-in-law Randy Houdek, sisters; Sharon Smith, Betty Bailey and Lois Hurlbut.

A visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home.
