Dale Blasczyk

April 7, 1935 — February 20, 2022

Dale Blasczyk, lifelong resident of Polar, passed away on February 20, 2022 at the age of 86 at his home. Dale was born on April 7, 1935 in Polar to the late Frank and Alma (Wierschke) Blasczyk. He was a graduate of Antigo High School and went on to work as a laborer at multiple lumber mills. He was united in marriage to Sadie Blasczyk and the two were happily married for 12 years before she preceded him in death in 2012. Dale was known for his kindness and having a gentle heart. He had an amazing sense of humor. His family meant the world to him. Survivors include 2 nieces, Sally (Gary Roettger) Boettcher and Lynne (John) Marmes, both of Antigo; 4 nephews, Michael (Wanda) Duchan, Dennis (Sue) Duchan, Randy (Connie) Duchan, and Scott (Arlene) Duchan, all of Antigo, granddaughter Alicia (Adam) Boone of Antigo, and great grandchildren, Tamia Perilloux and Adam Boone Jr. both of Antigo. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Lloyd Blasczyk, and sister Laverne Duchan. A funeral service for Dale will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Lutheran Church with Vicar Jennifer Sosinski officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow at the Town of Polar Cemetery.
