Dale "Curly" J. Bellomy

Dale "Curly" J. Bellomy, of Antigo, died Wed., Jan. 6 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation at the age of 73.He was born July 19, 1936 in Boise City, OK, son of the late Glen Elva Bellomy and Asteria Fenstemacher. He married Joan M. DeBroux on March 28, 1956 in Antigo. She survives and resides in Antigo.After graduating from high school in Oklahoma, Mr. Bellomy served in the US Air Force. After his time in the service, he settled in Antigo, working for Wick Building Systems and Duffek Sand and Gravel. Mr. Bellomy liked playing cards, especially with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed morning coffee with his buddies and working in the yard.Survivors, in addition to his wife, include 3 daughters, Teresa (Pat) Carley of Antigo, Debbie (Calvin) Gardner of Birnamwood, and Doris (Brian) Ekeland of Colorado; 2 sons, Rudy (Connie) of Rosemont, MN, and Gary of Salinas, CA; a sister, Reva; 6 brothers, Earl Guy, Glen, Roger, Albert, Fred, and John; 9 grandchildren, April, Jenny, Sarah, Aaron, Samantha, Trisha, Brandon, Brett, and Eric; and 5 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew; 3 sisters, Naomi Lee, Helda, and Eileen; and 4 brothers, Dennis, Donovan, Donald, and Paul. In honor of Mr. Bellomy's wishes, private family services will be held.
