Dale R. Edwards

Dale R. Edwards, longtime Antigo resident, died Wed., Sept. 8, 2010 at St. Clare's Hospital in Weston. He was 68 years old.He was born Sept. 13, 1941 in Antigo, son of the late Roy and Marion (Ullman) Edwards. He married Luanne Kamin on Oct. 4, 1975 in Antigo, and they later divorced. He then married Linda (Thom) on March 10, 2006. She survives and resides in Antigo.A 1960 graduate of Antigo High School, Mr. Edwards served in the US Army in the Vietnam War.He worked as a truck driver for his brother's business, Leon Edwards Trucking. He later was employed as a mechanic at Krueger and Steinfest, Quinlan's Equipment, and Mid-Wisconsin Coaches.Mr. Edwards enjoyed auctions and restoring John Deere tractors.In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Michelle (fiance Trever Unsinn) Edwards of Antigo; a son, Josh (Holly) Kamin of Green Bay; 3 stepdaughters, Christina Wheeler of Minneapolis, MN, Elizabeth Gibson of Embarass, and Vanessa (Darrin) Koehler of Wausau; a brother, Thomas (Betty) of Antigo; a sister-in-law, Gloria Edwards of Antigo; 11 grandchildren, Tate, Jake, and Jordan Unsinn, Drew, Cameron, and Kyle Kamin, Cassandra and Courtney Gibson, and Derek, Kaitlyn, and Hailey Koehler; 2 great-grandchildren, Arianna and Baileigh; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Leon.
