Danna Marie Emerich

Danna Marie Emerich of White Lake passed away on February 1, 2022 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice after a courageous 3 month battle with cancer. She was 52 years old. Danna was born on November 17, 1969 in Antigo to Danny DeHart and Janie (Bussie) Holbrook. Her parents, Janie and Bussie Holbrook survive. Danna worked as a certified medical assistant for Aspirus Langlade Hospital and most recently for North Lakes Community Clinic. On March 13, 2005, she was united in marriage to Alex Emerich. He survives. Danna was a member of the Apostolic Worship Center. She lived her life faithfully. Danna was known to give until she had no more and then somehow would find more to give. She had a beautiful soul and a beautiful voice. She made those around her feel truly comfortable to open up to her. Danna loved singing, reading, and watching Little House on the Prairie and Hallmark movies. Above all, she loved God, her family, and spending time with her grandkids. In addition to her parents, Janie and Bussie and husband Alex, Danna is survived by children, James Turner of Lily, Brianna (Jordan ) Jankowski of Appleton, Justin (Bonnie) Emerich of White Lake, Jonathan (Kelsey) Schultz of White Lake, and Elizabeth (Matthew Moczynski) Schultz of White Lake, grandchildren, Cali Kemp, Zyriee Turner, Tessa Turner, Max Jankowski, Sophia Jankowski, Evelyn Jankowski, Colt Emerich, Aaron Wickersheim, Madalynn Wickersheim, Brian Schultz, Bentley Moczynski, and Noah Moczynski, and siblings, Missy (Daymion) Smith, Shelly (Bob) Strong, Mike (Tiffany) Holbrook, BJ (Kim) Holbrook, and Danny (Kelly) DeHart. Danna was preceded in death by a daughter Rachel Turner, grandson Teddy Jankowski, and previous husband and father of her children, Brian Schultz. A funeral service for Danna will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at White Lake School at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ward Rehbein officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service at the school. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the scholarship fund being established in Danna’s name.
