Darlene Leona Zoern

Darlene Leona Zoern, age 73, of Antigo, died Thursday, November 21, 2019. Darlene was born August 8, 1946 to the late Reuben and Dorothy (Stone) Stinewal. She married Charles Oberlin and the couple later divorced. On June 22, 1995, she was united in marriage to Wally Zoern. Darlene was employed by Insinkerator during her years in Racine later while living in Antigo she was employed at Eastbay. Darlene enjoyed reading the bible, she loved gospel music, taking rides with Wally and visiting Racine to spend time with her grandchildren. Survivors in addition to her husband, Wally, include a daughter, Carol Oberlin of Racine, a son; Wayne Oberlin of Racine, 3 sisters; Betty Cossette of Neva, Carol Henderson of Racine, Shirley Stinewal; 2 stepdaughters; Tammy Peppler of Clintonville and Terry Robertson of Antigo, 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter; Denise Terry, stepson Bill Zoern, a sister; Geraldine Stewart and brother Eugene Stone. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 24th 4:00PM-7:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 25th 11:00AM with visitation from 10:00-11:00 at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Interment will be in Star Neva Cemetery. Reverend Richard Kendall will officiate.
