Darrell Lake

Darrell James Lake, age 57, of Antigo died November 24, 2021 at Froedert Hospital in Milwuakee. Darrel was born on October 20,1964 in Milwaukee to Kathleen (Martens) Lake and the late George Lake. Darrell had a loving union with his life partner Cheryl Walton. She survives and resides in Antigo. Darrell operated Phoenix Laser and Manufacturing in Elcho. He was a caring, hard-working man, always willing to help others. He enjoyed quad racing and was passionate about giving kids the opportunity to race. Darrell was an avid Harley rider. He loved his family and friends dearly. Survivors in addition to Cheryl and his mom, Kathy include children: Season Roy of Summit Lake, James Lake (Nikki) of Pelican Lake, Hunter and Hayden Lake of Antigo, Jessica, Josh, and Jake Walton of Antigo, siblings: Dawn Lake (Charlie) of Antigo, Denise Lake-Stevens (Rob) of Pelican Lake, Debbie (Craig) Gilbertson of Pound, grandchildren: Nevaeh, Dane, Miranda, Presten, Brayten, Cali, Chloe, Evan, Taylor, many nieces and nephews, his mother-in-law Lois Howard of Elcho, and his beloved canine friends Sadie and Shadow. Darrell was preceded in death by his father, George Lake, a son Dennis Lake, a brother Dennis Lake, and father-in-law Bob Howard. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
