Debra Mae Spurgeon

Debra Mae Spurgeon of Antigo, died at her sister Karen's home on April 1, 2014 under the care of LeRoyer Hospice surrounded by her family. She was 57 years old. She was born Dec. 14, 1956 in Langlade County, daughter of the late Edward and Donna (Raab) Hoerman. She graduated from Antigo High School with the class of 1975. On Sept. 1, 1990 she married George "Tim" Spurgeon on Mackinac Island, MI. She was employed at Plaspack, and was a lifelong area resident. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and her canine companion Heidi. She loved spending time at the cottage and being outside. Some of her favorite activities included four wheeling and being on the water. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include 3 sisters, Denise Hoerman, Karen Hoerman, and Diane Sabby, all of Antigo; a brother, Duane (Beth) Hoerman of Antigo; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lori Breitenfeldt. In accordance with her wishes, no public visitation or service will be held. Interment will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.
