Delores Eva Knorr, age 81, of Antigo died Wednesday at Aspirus Wausau Hospital under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care Hospice. Mrs. Knorr was born May 21, 1931 to the late Peter and Eva (Schuman) Michels in the Town of Polar. She married Roy Knorr. The couple later divorced. Mrs. Knorr was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Dorcas Society, helped with funeral dinners, the church bulletin and church dinners. She worked for 20 years at Montgomery Wards and at Langlade Laundry. She was a Stanley dealer for many years. She also helped many people with house work until retiring in 2011. Survivors include a son Mark (Laurie) Knorr of Merrill, 2 daughters, Kathy Barnes of Merrill and Karen (Raymond) Lewis of Antigo, 7 grandchildren, Derek, Genna, Jessica, Roy, Terry, Steve, and Dusty, 4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Ruth Walters of Appleton and Rosemary (Glenn) Kegley of Antigo, a brother Julius (Lorraine) Michels of Antigo. Mrs. Knorr was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law James Walters. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM at Peace Lutheran Church. Reverend Scott Kruse will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home and on Monday from 9:30 until the time of service at Peace Lutheran. Interment will be in St. Peter's Church Cemetery in Polar. A memorial will be established in Mrs. Knorr's name.
