Dennis "Donut" Rank

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Lee Rank, who departed from this world on the 9th of June, at the age of 65.

Dennis, also affectionately known as "Donut," was born on December 2nd, 1958 in Antigo to the late Frank and Delores (Novakoski) Rank. Dennis graduated from Antigo High School in 1977, and married Rosie (West) in 1993. He worked for GTE and City Gas Company, each for over 20 years, prior to retirement.

In addition to his wife Rosie, Dennis is survived by step-daughter Jaime (Sean) Greener, grandchildren Selah and Kaleb; step-daughter Stephanie Schweiger, grandchildren Makayla (AJ) Bessert and great-grandchildren Kynlee and Bennett, Bailey (Wyatt) O'Harver, and Morgan Schweiger; step-son Jeffrey Messer; and his brother Dale, along with nieces and nephews.

Dennis really enjoyed cruising around town in his 1970 Chevrolet Corvette, and restoring his 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. He loved reminiscing about earlier years he spent with his Ostreich cousins, and his cousin, Dennis "the Polack" Dziamarski. He loved the Beatles, car shows, races, collecting antiques, and watching old shows.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his elder brother, Larry Rank, of Antigo.

A memorial service will be held for Dennis on Saturday, June 15th at Christ Central Church, 630 Superior Street, Antigo; with visitation at 9:30 am, service at 11 am, and lunch immediately following the service.
