Dennis Paul Shidell

Dennis Paul Shidell of Wausau passed away on June 13, 2025 at Eastview medical and Rehabilitation at the age of 66. He was under the care of LeRoyer Hospice.

Dennis was born on February 9, 1959 in Wausau to the late Robert and Laura (Adamski) Shidell.

After graduating high school, Dennis began a long career as a long-haul truck driver. For many years, he worked for Peterson’s Produce and Plainfield Trucking. Dennis was a previous resident of Ocala, FL before making his way back to his hometown of Wausau, WI.

Dennis is survived by son Kyle (Jamie) Shidell of Rosholt, daughter Rebecca Garcia of Minnesota, grandchildren Sophia Shidell, Ian Spielvogel, Destiny Garcia, Pualina Garcia, and Jasmine Garcia, siblings Roger Shidell, Allen Sr. Shidell, Patrick Shidell, Brian Shidell, Bruce Shidell; and his sisters: Patricia Jerzak, Marion Toboyek, Joyce Bronk.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by brothers Robert Shidell, Jr., Robin Shidell, and Virgil Shidell, and a sister Susan Sitko.

A celebration of life for Dennis will be planned for a later date.
