Dewayne "Duke" M. Cahak

DeWayne "Duke" M. Cahak, age 74 of Antigo, died Monday at his home under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice.DeWayne was born October 6, 1936 in Antigo to Beatrice Cahak.DeWayne was a graduate of Antigo High School and served in the US Air Force. He married Joan Schilleman on January 16, 1976 in Milwaukee. Mr. Cahak was an accountant in Milwaukee for many years and retired to Antigo in 2001. DeWayne enjoyed books and sports. Browsing Barnes and Noble and enjoying Starbucks Coffee was a favorite past time that he and Joan shared together. He also enjoyed his Corgies.In addition to his wife, Joan, Mr. Cahak is survived by his mother Beatrice Cahak of Antigo; a son Rick (Sabrina) Sane of Orlando, FL; a daughter, Claudia (Michael) Roedl of Scottsdale, AZ; and 2 grandsons Spencer and Keating Sane of Orlando.In honoring DeWayne's wishes private services were held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed toward LeRoyer Hospice or Langlade County Humane Society.To the world he was one person, to us he was our world.
