Diane Marie Horton

Diane Marie Horton, age 70, died at her home Monday, December 22, 2020 under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. Diane was born on July 24, 1950 in Marshfield, WI to the late James and LuElla (Mattheisen) Grassman. She was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1968. On January 16, 1971, she was united in marriage to Dennis Horton. Diane attended cosmetology school in Green Bay and returned to Antigo to work as a hairstylist at The Mode. She later owned and operated Java Junction. She also worked at Festival Foods and most recently worked as a manager at Walmart until her retirement. Diane enjoyed collecting antiques and making crafts and she was truly an animal lover. Survivors in addition to her husband, Dennis, include a daughter; Amanda Saunders of North Carolina, 3 grandchildren; Brooklyn, Farley, Vesper, a brother; Jim (Georgie) Grassman of Aniwa, a sister-in-law; Linda (Mark) Reynolds of Aniwa and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death a brother Jeffrey Grassman. Private services will be held.
