Dolores Wojan

Dolores L. Wojan, 86, of Antigo passed away at her residence at the Homme Home in Wittenberg, WI on September 11, 2015. She was born May 3, 1929 to Emil and Lillian (Sipek) Wojan. She graduated from Antigo High School in 1947. A lifelong resident of Antigo, Dolores was employed by the Weinbrenner Shoe Factory and was co-owner of D's House of Fabrics in Antigo. She was also a Life Member of the Langlade County Humane Society. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ and served on many church councils, serving as Treasurer of Women of Faith and funeral dinner chairperson. Dolores had a great love of animals and always had a dog or cat that she rescued. She was always willing to help others in her community. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Virginia Hohmann and Imogene Hicks and their husbands, Leonard and Robert, brothers Carl and Lyman and her twin brother Delmer and his wife Carol. Visitation will be at the Homme Home Chapel in Wittenberg from 12:00 to 1:00 pm with a service following at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place at Antigo Cemetery on Wednesday, September 15, 2015 at 11:00 am. Memorials to the Langlade County Humane Society.
