Donald Jagoditsh

Donald “Jag” Jagoditsh of Post Lake passed away at home on August 13, 2023 at the age of 83.

Don was born on September 19, 1939 to the late Richard and Vira (Farmer) Jagoditsh. He married the love of his life, Janet Kregelka, on January 20, 1990 in Appleton.

Don served in the United States Coast Guard from 1957-1961 as a medical corpsman. He served as a police officer in Appleton from 1967 until his retirement in 1993 as a lieutenant.

Don enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. He also enjoyed RV traveling and winters in Texas. He was a member of the Elcho American Legion.

In addition to his wife Janet, Don is survived by his sons: Donald Jr (Wendy), Daniel (Amanda), and Anthony (Ann), 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by sisters: Margaret Jagoditsh, Dori Evans, Joan Spaulding, Janice Sy, and Patricia Schmuhl.

His loving wife Janet took exceptional care of him with many of his health issues, putting his needs above hers. As Don’s health declined, Janet provided him with gentle and loving care. She continued to be at his side until his final passing.

A celebration of Don's life will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Post Lake Improvement Association Building located at W8669 Hwy K, Elcho, WI 54428.
