Donna J. Meverden

Donna Meverden, age 84, of Gillett, formerly of Antigo and Birnamwood died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Woodlands of Gillett Nursing Home. Donna was born on March 6, 1932 in Summit Lake to the late Frank and Anna (Albrecht) Beach. She was united in marriage to Leonard Meverden on June 4, 1949. Leonard preceded her in death on February 7, 2007. Donna worked for Sheldon's and Amron Corporation. She enjoyed weaving rugs and polka dancing. Survivors include a daughter, Sandy Rank of Gillett, 2 sons, Leo (Barbara) Meverden of Aniwa, William (Nancy) Meverden of Antigo, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12:00 noon at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Pastor Roger Davis will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
