Doris L. Wolter

Doris Lila Wolter, age 88, died today at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. Doris was born December 14, 1921 in the Town of Antigo to the late Gustav and Esther (Heschke) Wolter. Doris had a loving and caring spirit. Throughout her life she cared for people in their homes often during the end of their life. She also enjoyed animals. Her talents included playing the piano, organ and guitar and she loved dancing.Doris was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She attended Neffswitch School and Peace Lutheran School.Survivors include 2 sisters; Norma Strasser of Antigo and Darlene (Ed) Wurtinger Jr. of Antigo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at Peace Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the church. Rev. David Karolus will officiate. Burial will be in Antigo Cemetery. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
