Dorothy "Dottie" Udovitsch, age 65, of Polar died Saturday at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice.Dottie was born November 26, 1944 in Chicago, IL to the late Michael and Adeline (Ciezaldo) Stec. She was a graduate of Main West High School in Des Plaines, IL. On October 19, 1963 Dottie and Matt Udovitsch were united in marriage in Chicago, IL. They moved to Antigo in 1969. Dottie was employed at the Antigo Vision Clinic for 26 years and was also a homemaker. Dottie was a member of St. John Catholic Church. She was active there creating the church banners. She was a Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed time spent outdoors. She was a gardener and loved nature.Being near the water, both the lake and ocean were dear to her. She enjoyed shelling and living on the lake. Her greatest treasures in life were the times spent with her family and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Dottie is survived by 2 daughters; Anne (Kevin) Addesso of Sheboygan,WI and Julie (Mike) Peterson of Polar, WI; a son: Matthew (Autumn) of Moab, UT; 3 grandchildren: Luke and Ali Addesso and Jacob Peterson; 3 sisters, Joanne Rooney of Chicago, IL, Pat (Murray) Coleman, Itasca, IL, Del (Don) Bellisario of Oklahoma City, OK. Dottie was preceded in death by an infant son John Matthew, a sister Ann Kulasik and a brother Frederick Stec. The funeral mass will be at 12:30 PM Friday at St. John Catholic Church. Father Charles Hoffmann and Father Omer Kelley will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 12:30 on Friday at the St. John Church Gathering Hall. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Dottie's name for All Saints Catholic School."The woods are lovely, dark, and deepBut I have promises to keepAnd miles to go before I sleep"Robert Frost
