Dwight Nieforth

Dwight C. "Friday" Nieforth, 83, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at K T C & R –Eastview in Antigo. He was born August 8, 1929 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Fred and Helen (Schwankl) Nieforth. He served in the U S Navy four years during the Korean War. On June 14, 1952 he married Grace Anderson in Kingsford, MI. She survives. Mr. Nieforth started Mapleview Electric in 1977 in Antigo; owning and working the business with his two sons until retirement in 1994. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Mr. Nieforth was a former member of the Langlade Trapshooting Club and enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his wife, Grace, survivors include two sons; Mark (Bonnie) Nieforth and Scott (Sandy) Nieforth, Antigo; grandchildren; Fred (Stephanie), Clint (Kelly) Nieforth; Kristine (Seth) Pulfus and Lindsey (Ben) Schmitt; six great grandchildren. Further survived by a sister, Joyce Oates, Billingham, WA and a brother, Bruce Nieforth, Monroe, WA; brother-in-law, Dennis (Betty) Anderson, Kingsford, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws and a brother, Ron. In honor of his wishes; there will be no funeral service.
