Edda U. Kittleson

Edda U. Kittleson of Stoughton died Tuesday, Oct. 16 at her daughter's home in Deerbrook, Wisconsin under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was born April 4, 1939 in Karlsruhe, Germany, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Berchmueller. She married Richard Kittleson on Feb. 16, 1956 in Karlsruhe. Richard preceded her in death on May 26, 2008. She was a homemaker and worked as a dietary aide at Skalen Home for many years. She enjoyed tennis, cross-country skiing, gardening, visiting with friends, and shopping. She was a longtime member of the International Club of Stoughton, where she made many lifelong friends. Survivors include her 3 children, Mary Lou Kittleson of Stoughton, Thomas Kittleson of Madison, Tanya (Todd) Chrostowski of Deerbrook and 3 siblings, Margaret, Monica, Erwin, of Germany. She was also a super loving grandmother to Michael and Alexa. They enjoyed playing games together, walking, visiting, and playing tennis. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Covenant Lutheran Church in Stoughton, with Pastor Mark Petersen officiating. Visitation will be 10-11 A.M. Saturday at the church. Memorials in Edda's name may be directed to the National Association for the Mentally Ill or the American Cancer Society.
